In our autologous treatment service for pets, we extract stem cells from the animal itself to treat different diseases.
The applications of stem cells, thanks to their anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory power, go beyond the treatment of joint problems, having shown good results in problems of kidney failure, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), feline asthma, gingivostomatitis, etc. It is a personalised treatment for each patient depending on their pathology.
At EquiCord we work with stem cells from adipose tissue of the animal itself. Extraction of the adipose tissue is carried out at your veterinary center. This sample is sent to the laboratory. After the processing of the fat and the expansion of the MSCs, the treatment is sent to the veterinary clinic in fresh and there it is administered to the patient via systemic or intra-articular, depending on the case.
